God and Goddesses In Nepal
Fetes & Festivals in Nepal
Everything festive in Nepal traditionally begins with something religious and moves with spontaneous spirit into a pleasant family feast. This is because, for Nepali's, relegion has always influenced and has been the core of Nepali culture.
Most of the festivals celebrated in Nepal are religious. However, they can be generally divided into four sections keeping in mind the main aspects of the festival emphasized:
Religious: These festivals are specially designed to honor a certain god or goddess. For instance, Bada Dashain, the festival of Devi Durga, the universal mother goddess also known as Kali.
Historical: The historical festivals are celebrated to keep alive memories of events of importance. Gaijatra, was introduced by Jaya Prakash Malla.
Agricultural: Since Nepal is an agricultural country there are different festivals like Laxmi Puja which mark the different seasons of harvesting, planting etc.
Seasonal: The different seasonal festivals are celebrated in order to mark the beginning of special seasons. Holi or Fagu is the festival inspired by spring, the season of colours.
Legendary: These festivals are based on legends than on any reliable historical record. Ghantakarna is a festival, which is also based on a legend. It is celebrated as a great relief from the death of a most dreaded legendary monster-Ghantakarna
One of the interesting ways to understand the beauty and richness of Nepali culture is through its festivals. During festivals in Nepal, cultural dances, songs and performances are practiced. These cultural treasures make the festivals interesting and entertaining. People find more joy participating in performances and watching others perform and so, no festivals are idle gatherings. Instead, they are lively and purposeful.

Infrastructure and promotion
-Tourism depends upon infrastructure.
-The decade war has badly damaged the country's infrastructure.
-No true leader who is really loyal to nation.
-promotion let you know about product or services.
Infrastructure plays great role in the development of the country and it has direct effect on tourism. Tourism is mobility of people from one place to different destination for different purposes and for common mission. In another way, common vision of tourism is exchange of service with money.
Large group of manpower is involved in tourism industry, there is generation and creation of employment day by day and it will continue endless, because wants and desire of people is dynamic. Most of the country which are well developed today is backup by tourism.
In context of united kingdom, the main source of government is tourism and other European countries are also the same, this is possible due to rapid development in infrastructure and creation of new tourism destination.
Road, railways, airways and waterways are the main means of transport in developed country. There is good system of public transport, strict rules and regulation helps for continuity of good systems in country. One can easily travel underground from one end of country to another and information is up to date. This is promotion, the pull factor for visitors to come to this country. we know that when tourist come they bring money which they directly invest in accommodation, transportation and the same money which they pay will also help government as tax and royalty. So, when a tourist visit new destination, he directly expense in airlines, hotel, travel and communication. Therefore, when 1000 people tourist visit the same place than, their expense is large unemployment problem of host country is solved as there is large creation of job. So never ever try to underestimate the role of tourism in any country, the scope is boundary less.
In context of Nepal, we we can promote our natural beauty( i.e plant , animals and places , rafting, mountaineering, trekking, mountain biking and hiking. We are lucky we have not used any of these recourses to minimum level also. The things we need is infrastructure development and promotion. Our leading party mess the country, the decade war has deadly damaged the country infrastructure in the name of revolution and the result is net loss now its time for us to built nation commonly, leader will do nothing further more Nepal has no true leader who is really loyal to nation. People of any country are great and if country cannot use their resource, than the ultimate victim is country which has direct effect on people and their generation. so the for the long term development of tourism, Nepal government should developed airways and roadways to different destination, the capable separate department should be activated for the development of infrastructure for tourist.
Promotion
Promotion is giving information to people about product and service i.e. tourism. Peace and security is element of brand promotion. It can be marketing, advertisement, website development, sponsorship, public relations, sales promotion, exhibitions, word of mouth, branding etc. it increases the awareness and popularity, stimulate and facilitate purchase
In context of United Kingdom, they promote their product and services in internet i.e. website development. internet advertisement, newspaper i.e. metro daily and evening standard which are freely provided to thousands of customers.
Therefore we can also promote tourism in Nepal by developing infrastructure and promoting product and services.
how to attract tourists?
Tourist are mostly attracted by the natural beauty of a country.
